My application set on Windows

For work I am using a notebook with Windows 2003 Server (which I need for developing with several server applications and in combination with several virtual machines running on that host depending on what I do).

In the last years I tried to reduce commercial closed-source products and replace them with others (free and - where possible - open source). Here is the list of free software pieces I use most:

• Thunderbird (E-Mail-Client)
• Firefox (Web Browser)
• Skype (Instant Messenger and VOIP)
• ClamWin (Virus Scanner)
  
• Open Office (Office-Suite)
  
• Freemind (Mind Mapping)
• VLC (Media Player)
  
• Screenshot Captor (Screenshot-taking tool)
• UltraVNC (Remove Help / Console View)
  
• Notepad++ (Text editor)
• OpenVPN
  
• QuickDic and LingoPad (Dictionary, but I am also using online dict.Leo.org, www.dict.cc)
  
• PuTTy (SSH/telnet client)
  
• FileZilla and WinSCP (For FTP, SCP, ...)
• TaskIX32 + VirtuaWin (Taskbar and Multiple Desktop Manager)
• WinMerge (Text File compare and diff tool)
  
• Frhed (HEX-Editor)
  
• NetBeans (Java Development)

I use others, but these are my most used free applications and tools under Windows.
